Nick (the owner) makes good first impression which you would expect from someone who owns used cars dealership. Unfortunately, when you start experiencing issues and require his help this is when all gets complicated and you have perfect opportunity to see a true face of the person who has just sold you your dream car. Originally advertised as in excellent condition, low mileage and drives like a dream. Since the purchase the engine, when starting from cold, was generating a lot of vibrations which where transferred to the cabin. I originally thought that maybe it was the nature of this engine but on one occasion several weeks after the purchase I left the engine run after it was turned on from cold and after 1 minute of idling the engine light showed up on the dashboard. It was apparent that there was an issue with the engine. Nick agreed to take the car back for repair which involved replacement of all fuel injectors. It was also agreed that the repair was supposed to take 1 day and I was going to get the car back day later (old courtesy BMW with big engine oil leak problem was provided). The car was returned to me 8 days later and once again described as "drives like a dream". Right after I got it back I went for a drive and just several miles later engine warning light showed up on the dashboard and the car went into limp mode (loss of power). The car was once again collected few days later and taken for additional repair which involved replacement of ignition coil. It now drives well but I have still been dealing with Nick and it has been an absolute nightmare. During second repair my OBD scanner was taken out of the car and left in the garage which dealt with the issue. Nick later on collected it and promised to send it back. It took me over a month, many phone calls, e-mail and text messages before the scanner was eventually sent back to me. I had also been promised that all the paperwork for those repairs were going to be sent to me. It has been several months now and countless requests but I have not received the paperwork which Nick himself offered to send right after the repair. Moreover we waited several months for V5C document to be sent out to us by DVLA. Nick had not informed DVLA about the fact that the car has new owner. When asked about it he lied to us that he informed DVLA about about this fact right after the car was sold which is not true as there was this 14 day period during which if we wanted to return the car for any reason we could which means that sending this information to DVLA during this time would be pointless as he had no guarantee we would keep the car. The overall experience with Nick and the company he represents, especially with after sale customer service, has been negative. Yes, he had fixed the car but he was obligated by the law to do so. Nick has lied to me and my wife on many occasions, not picking up the phone and not responding to e-mails on many occasions. Unfortunately, I find him to be dishonest and unpleasant to deal with.
