PERFECT WEDDING VENUE Wow, what an incredible wedding venue. We had our wedding here in summer 2021. It was sheer perfection and we are so lucky to have found Broomhouse! We stayed from Friday to Sunday, and had our wedding on the Saturday at 2pm. Broomhouse could certainly host more guests (the gorgeous grounds are very spacious), but we kept our wedding small with 15 of us. The venue seems very flexible in that it can be wonderfully intimate for small parties but we can imagine itd also work well for large parties when it becomes safe to do so. From the moment you enter the driveway to Broomhouse its just beautiful. Our guests were all so happy when they got out the car and asked us how we managed to secure such a stunning venue. They absolutely loved wandering around the beautifully-kept grounds and going for little walks in its different parts; from woodland path, to a large sunny lawn with tables and chairs, to more formal gardens, a honey bee farm, and other little gardens and paths. There is a lot to explore, which meant our guests were entertained while we set up and decorated on the Friday evening and Saturday morning. The fact that we could get married at Broomhouse was wonderful - it made it all very easy and relaxed. We had the ceremony on the porch of one of the gorgeous summer houses, and theres a little path leading up to it. It was just perfect! We then went inside to sign the registrar with our two witnesses. We had the marquee as an extra, which took the pressure off with no need to worry about the weather, and we dined in there too (we had a BBQ cooked up by a nearby business who came out to the venue). Turns out the weather was glorious but the marquee was still used as a lovely centrepiece. We also had the fire pit which was just fantastic!! Such a nice thing to do - it added another dimension to our evening, having our guests wander over and take a seat and chat around the fire. It was very cosy. Mandy encouraged us to decorate Broomhouse however we wanted, and it was all very easy-going. We fancied a rustic feel that let the natural beauty of Broomhouse shine through, so we didnt need to do very much! Broomhouse is in an excellent location and seems very happy to have other businesses there (such as local caterers) to make your wedding your own. If we were to try and describe the overall feel of Broomhouse wed say its peaceful, calm, organic, open and spacious yet interesting and diverse, unique, and magical, with plenty of space to dance around and have fun! The rooms are also such high quality - very comfortable, super clean and prepared to a professional standard, and a luxurious feel to them. Our guests were very well rested. The owners Mandy and Rob are amazing - they went way above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. Honestly: we planned this for well over a year and Mandys communication with us was continuously excellent, friendly, and she was very patient while we made up our mind about things! We found her local knowledge very useful and she was very accommodating. They are lovely people that really care about you and your day, and your overall stay. Overall, we couldnt be happier with our wedding and owe a lot of that to Broomhouse. Such a beautiful setting and lots of happy memories made.
