DON'T EVER BOOK WITH SCARLET!! Scarlet is the flakiest hairdresser I have ever come across - having her mess up a booking in December I gave her the benefit of the doubt and booked with her again in Flitwick. I live in Bedford....I drove 40 minutes to Flitwick on a Saturday, having booked a appointment for a cut and colour I anticipated taking a few hours. She thereby told me I needed a patch test and she couldn't do the colour I was booked in for. Bear in mind she had already coloured my hair in December without a patch test so obviously not a necessity for her so we are looking at huge double standards....she had made NO effort to contact me and lied that she had. In 25 years of having my hair coloured I have NEVER had. patch test. I had NO messages or voicemails from her informing me of this despite Scarlet lying and saying she had tried to get in touch. To make the situation worse - I have a big birthday a few days later so I had specifically booked in to have my hair ready - I was very very let down and very very upset. Scarlet argued 'she was just 19' which is beside the point - she is an adult charging market rate prices and so needs to behave like an adult and treat her paying customers with respect and not cry when she receives any form of criticism - she needs to take responsibility and actually look after her customers. The manager of the salon was rude, arrogant and useless in resolving the situation. How Scarlet could possibly let a customer drive 40 minutes to an appointment and not notify them (and lie she had) it couldn't go ahead is beyond me - to do it a week before a big birthday is unforgivable.

This was the second time I visited. First was for a haircut and my experience was good. Everything straightforward and simple. Sophia was very attentive. (Hence the two stars instead of one.) However, the second time I visited, the lady that coloured my hair just combed through my hair and ears. I got a piercing on the helix so it hurt a lot. I did not mind this at first, as I should have informed her first, so I kindly told her I got a piercing so if she could be careful. But after the hair colouring and washing hair, she combed my ear through again, which damaged my ear even more. The biggest problem I had was the fact that all the combs, three in total, were all FILLED WITH HAIR BALLS from other customers. Extremely unhygienic. When I came home, I disinfected my ears and put on healing treatment, which felt like the flesh was ripped open and inflamed. The hair result was satisfactory. But I do not recommend if you do not want your hair combed with dirty hair brushes and if you want good service. Service: Hair coloring
