Bought a car from Brad at Ampthill Motorhouse sight unseen. I shouldn't have worried, after a 3 train trip to pick up the car I was totally amazed at how perfect it looked when I got there. Drove it 300 miles home with no problem at all. Highly recommended.

Avoid the dealership, Brad is great up until the point of sale. Bought a car here over summer. When I viewed we agreed cosmetic things needed fixing (smashed brake light and wing mirror, the tracking), Brad agreed it and said hed put it through a new MOT. When I went to collect, Brad had forgotten about the MOT, had replaced the brake light but not connected it, and one other mechanical issue that had not been sorted. He agreed to pay for these to be sorted at the local garage and I could take the car that day. Since then he hasnt been taking my calls and seems to have forgotten the conversation. The car is a death trap it is not registered as a cat n/s but imagine it is, clearly, he bought it with damage to the back and has stuck a new bumper on (which is not actually fixed to the car) same with the brake light that is not connected. Wing mirror bounces on the side of the car as not fixed properly. Hes a proper wheeler dealer. Awful experience here, go elsewhere

We had a terrible & costly experience and i would not recommend buying from this garage. We are a local Ampthill business and trusted Brad when he told us he was sending the van to his mechanics to check and service, so we did not get our mechanic to check the van ( big mistake) . We waited while this was done. He told us the black smoke was because it had been sitting and we would just need to run it to clear and add addblue. We paid 15K for the van and have spent 7K replacing the engine and many other parts due to the damage from us running it to clear the smoke. No replies from my messages. This man has damaged our local business and been very costly from replacing the engine to hiring a van. Shame on you Brad! I would give you minus stars if i could!

Purchased a 2017 Ford Focus a few months ago from Brad, service was good and he agreed the car would come with a new service and mot. Collected car and seemed all good, however less than a day later the engine light came on. Brad agreed to fix as appeared to be a minor issue. However seemed odd as the car had just been motd with no advisories. Got an independent inspection from a reputable local garage and they revealed major issues with the car - once on ramps it was clear it had been involved in a front end crash (write off) and was bodged back together. They warned that the car should not be on the road and would never have passed an mot days earlier. Returned the car that same day to Brad and Matt, Matt refused to come view the issues with the car but eventually agreed to take a look. He dismissed the issues immediately and told me he would issue the refund that day. After having to chase all afternoon I received the refund the next day, minus the admin fee. After speaking to Brad he told me they had not completed any of the paperwork (After almost a week of me having the car?) and as a good will gesture would give me my admin fee back as well. Car was relisted the same week on their website. Reported to trading standards. Trust the reviews about this being a dodgy dealership! - Avoid at all costs!
