Recently used Sam on our proposed two storey extension and measured drawings across the house. Sam came for an initial visit, understood the brief perfectly and re-assured us from the very beginning. Sam was great to work with when designing & planning a two story extension. Kept us informed throughout and spoke through all technical aspects. Sam also put together some initial concept ideas for an internal re-fit of kitchen and living space which also helped massively. We was granted the planning application, with no changes required and at the first time of asking. BIG thanks and would not hesitate to use again in the future if needed.

If you are looking for a professional helpful architect who keeps you up to date and informed every step of the way then Sam is your man. Sam is so friendly and approachable, and himself and Veronica in the office are extremely efficient. Nothing seems to be too much trouble, which I feel is really important when it's your first project and you literally don't know what you are doing. Sam makes everything feel safe, and is also open and honest and "real" about situations. I never felt like I had to chase them up for anything, it all went so smoothly. I tweaked my drawings numerous times, but nothing was too much trouble. Highly recommend RD Designs! Also had a really fair pricing structure, better than others I had approached.

Highly recommend RD designs! Sam and Veronica were amazing to work with when designing & planning a two story extension. We had some ideas of our own which were taken into account, but what they designed for us was better than we could have imagined. They were great to work with, simple process and excellent communication. I was concerned about impacting neighbours with our designs but they were done in a way that meant our plans were granted full permission with no changes required. Sam was also so helpful when dealing with local planning authorities, removing all stress and lots of unknowns. I hope to work with RD Designs again and highly recommend to anyone looking for an architect!!
