Saturday 10:30am for breakfast and plenty of tables free. Food was very tasty, looked attractive and served reasonably promptly. The menu has a good selection of meals from full breakfast to toast and other items: we had the eggs Benedict with mushroom and spinach, which was very tasty. Coffee was good and non-dairy milk substitutes were available. We will definitely return! Total cost 31.

Excellent. We visited today for the traditional afternoon tea. Elegant space with relaxed atmosphere. We also found the music very appropriate. I have a nut allergy and the staff were thorough about it. The afternoon tea consisted of smoked salmon and honey roast ham finger sandwiches, coronation chicken wraps and wraps with goat's cheese and pepper. We were impressed with the fine patisserie cakes, especially the raspberry tartlet and the dark chocolate one. The scones were fresh and tasty. They were accompanied by cute little jars of clotted cream, strawberry jam and lemon curd. We liked that the jars had a small amount of content as in our experience with other afternoon tea venues it usually gets wasted. We asked for a refill when needed and the staff were very happy to provide. As a point of improvement we would have liked for the waiting staff to be a bit more attentive, as we had to get up to get their attention, but overall we liked the service and we will be returning!
