        I love this place. I love the Georgian architecture, the elegant grounds and gardens, the sensitive but funky interior design, the fabulous food and the friendly staff. Most of all, I love the decadence of laying on a lounger bed on the lawn in summer being served lunch. For me, there is nowhere more quintessentially English than Babbington, or Babbers at it is affectionately known in our family. Whenever I go back, I feel like returning to friends in Somerset for the night. Does it have any faults? What would I change if I owned it? Well, the pool/spa probably needs a bit of investment and expansion, the gardens near the lake a few more deep flower borders, but overall I love it just as it is - delicate, refined and fun.

        I had the pleasure of frequenting this location for a close friend's wedding. Thought the venue was amazing and the staff polite and very hard working. Thank you to all involved
