I am half way through an order with this company and I wish I had never started with them. I have ordered (and paid half already) 8k worth of a custom window and frame. The frame was delayed and when we went to collect, it was not ready as promised. Causing us to wait a further 3 hours whilst they rushed to finish it. It is finished poorly as a result. See pictures Glass has already been on order for 8 weeks and counting. Telephone response is sporadic at best. Sieger Systems and IQ Glass are to be avoided based on my experience. THEY WILL STEAL YOUR MONEY!!! ZERO work completed, delayed by over 3months, deposit taken. Avoid Sieger Aluminium Systems they really screwed me over, and if you check the other negative reviews you will see this is not uncommon!! Help your self......find another company for your windows. Keep your money safe. Placed an order with Sieger Aluminium Systems in Amersham (SAS) - I did the design work with a company called hedgehog and then was passed to SAS. The engineer came out, measured the dimensions incorrectly. Luckily before sign off my builders reviewed the dimensions and said they were incorrect. We then had weeks of chasing and arguments that the dimensions were wrong, so we would not sign it off. Finally a new guy came out and confirmed the dimensions were incorrect. New Dimensions were sorted. These were sent to us for sign off, however now the plans had none of the specifics of the windows which were present in the original plans. (eg, which way they open, positioning of openings etc....). - these were just generic windows. We informed them of this, they then were late with reply's and just sent through the incorrect drawings again. The manufacture of the windows should have been 9 weeks. After 13 weeks we decided we needed to meet SAS face to face. It was then we were informed that manufacture had not even started, so the windows would be at least 8 weeks longer (however this was not give in a convincing way at all, I believe there would have been further delay). We then decided to cancel the contract with SAS. They were in breach of contract regarding the time frames. They gave us no convincing indication they would have stuck to the revised time frame. This was in addition to the appalling customer service and overall incompetency of their staff. Although no work had been done on the manufacture of the windows, in addition to no productive work on the measurement or design being completed. And a promise to me that I would STILL have no windows for at least 8 weeks. - they still said they would keep the full deposit. I am multiple thousands out of pocket. Therefore they completed: No work Delayed my build dramatically, adding costs Wasted time having to chase them Caused Stress through poor service and zero transparency And still got paid a significant amount of my money. And now I have to get windows from someone else, with less money, and another lead time on top of the 13+ weeks I have already been delayed. After strenuous arguments, they have returned some of the money, but I am still significantly out of pocket. (Multiple thousands). Avoid Sieger Aluminium Systems they just want your money and don't care about delivering. For information, I was in contract with my builder - therefore the contract was between SAS and my builder. However, I am paying my builder for specifics like these, meaning the money that has not been returned has still come from my pocket.
