        We had an evening meal here and were shocked at the final bill.the menu is definitely overpriced. The starter and main course were nice enough but we ordered the cheese plate to finish not noticing that it cost a princely sum of 14.50! For that we got 3 small pieces of cheese still cold from the fridge and a few crackers and a small pot of pickle Very disappointing!

        We were met by an extremely snooty and hostile host. We chose not to stay because she was so unwelcoming.

        Used to be our favourite restaurant, and rated 5 stars. Sadly it has gone down hill. Luckily there is much better value for money or quality nearby, depending on your budget.
