I inherited a family clock which was repaired by Chalfont Clocks. The guys could not have been more helpful, explaining the history of the makers and the style and materials used. A new spring may have been required but I had confidence that they would only do as much as was required. When ready they installed with care in the house and gave me a key which I had managed to lose! The shop is almost next to the railway station and easy to park in the station , pay as you go. I would recommend without any hesitation

Left my late father in law smiths 8 day chiming mantle clock with chalfont clocks for a full refurb as it had not been heard for many years. I was delighted with the service especially having it delivered back to us and what has been done explained in detail. Getting used to the lovely sounds of the chimes and remembering Dad.

I'm delighted with the careful and sympathetic restoration of my late father's clock. The team discussed how we might make the 50 year old piece better than I remembered it and consulted me throughout the process. Could I be biased because Little Chalfont was my home for many years? Perhaps. So you will just have to rely on my good faith and a bit of all round common sense. For when you have a cherished family heirloom in need of care and attention the quality you look for, above all, is that very same trust with which you lend to this review. This has been my experience whenever I have used Chalfont Clocks for service and repair, and the fact that both our Mantle and Napoleon clocks are approaching their hundredth birthdays and still going strong is the best testament I can give. Well done to Ashley and his team. DP.
