Waves Hand Car Wash

Phoned and asked if I could drop my very dirty car off at 12:30 and leave it with them for a couple of hours and I was told that this was fine. My husband and I therefore drove over from Burnham and arranged to have a pub meal whilst we were waiting. However, on arrival at 12:30, after inspecting the car, I was informed that he "didn't have time" and that there were other cars waiting. He said that he needed 2 hours to complete the job and I assured him that this was fine and not to be too fussy as I have wet, muddy dogs in the car daily. He then repeated that he didn't have time. My advice is to be sure (although I thought I was!) that you will definitely be accommodated before visiting.

Took my daughters mini and met by a young woman who asked to see the inside of the car. There was one tissue and a couple of chocolate bar wrappers in the passenger side footwell and although the sign clearly said a gold service would cost 20, she insisted that it would take 1.5 hours and cost 45 as it was so bad inside the car. When I queried that saying that I could get it done in Ruislip for 15 (true), she said 15 would just be for the outside and although I corrected her that it was 7 for exterior only (also true), 45 with them it would have to be. I wasnt going to Ruislip so headed to Asda at Wycombe Handy Cross where they happily did it in 45 minutes for the advertised gold service cost of 20. DO NOT BOTHER WITH WAVES AT TESCO. Go elsewhere instead.

Devastated to come home to find the leather between my back seats scratched. Avoid at all costs.
