Aways a good place to check out. Lots of choice of clothing, staff are really helpful and well informed. I seem to buy something every time we visit! Great selection of clothing, I appear to be collecting Haglof at the moment, there are always great sale bargains The cockapoos Daisy and Alfie appreciate the doggie treats The cafe upstairs serves good food as well

Was in the Lakes on holiday a few weeks ago, needed some extra walking Leggings. Fantasticly helpful staff. Not only that, said leggings unfortunately had a hole in the back, which I didn't notice until I put them on the next day, called the shop, they said to pop back in. Changed with no fuss, helped me pick a new pair. Brilliant little shop, staff very knowledgeable and helpful. A full 5* from me.

Unsurpassed service, knowledge and enthusiasm. A shop that is willing to go the extra mile. We went in for walking shoes and did not find anything suitable but the shop tracked down a shoe that was suitable and suggested a shop in Keswick that had it in stock. The advice about shoes an jacket was given freely with a great depth of product knowledge. I will make this my No1 outdoor shop from now on
