Trespass Ambleside: We attempted to gain entry to the store at 17 .15hrs, 6JAN23. The times on door suggested closing time 17.30. Young dark haired male assistant, didn't bother to come to the door, he scowled at us and pointed at his till. Poor attitude and poor service. Happy New year.

Whent while on a visit to Ambleside I am in a wheelchair and when I asked for what I was looking for I was told its upstairs and that was that no offer of help in any sort of way perhaps he thought I would suddenly stand up and say its a miracle I can walk needless to say they missed out on a sale

Understaffed, rude staff member, understocked. Bad experience all round. As we went to the shoe section, picked out a shoe, we didnt initially noticed that there was only one staff member in the entire store. When (after a VERY long wait) we were served and asked for a shoe size and another long wait later we were given two different shoe sizes. Now I do understand if the staff member couldnt/didnt find the shoe size, thats totally fine but my feet wont change size to two completely different sizes and upon telling her no they wouldnt work for me as they are the completely wrong sizes she promptly responded, well Im not going back upstairs and refused to serve us and walked off. Completely rubbish experience and I do understand if she was stressed but she could have dealt with the situation a much maturer way than point blank refusing to serve us. Never coming again, do not go.
