        Second visit here. Last year's visit, can't fault it whatsoever... But this time.. Breakfast not as good. Which is a small complaint.... The issue was with the room, and the actual bed.. Photo attached of the state of the bed...stains on the base.. And the mattress was too small for the base... If you get room 8, ask for a different room..

        This was great location for Ambleside town shops, walks, and pubs, restaurants. It's dog friendly to the room was lovely and big, and the cooked breakfast was lovely too. There's tea, coffee in the room with biscuits. Room got cleaned bedding changed after first day which was a nice suprise, and towels changed. Great bed, and breakfast will definitely stay here again.
