Lucy's on A plate

We had a lovely meal with our family (6 adults & 1 child) at Lucys on a plate. Eve try thing was absolutely fantastic. Food was really good and the service was spot on. Atmosphere was great. Would highly recommend.

First of all, it must be said, this is the best restaurant in the lake district. From the moment my hand touched the front door, I knew Lucy was going to shake things up. The staff go the extra effort. The extra mile. The final inch. Bend over backwards. Whether it is arranging a 90th birthday party or ensuring your glass is topped up - Lucy's got your back - AND your plate. My favourite thing about place, you ask? Lucy put in a cryptic Italian style surprise on the menu. One person ordered an affogato, one, a "coffee floater", and one, a scoop of ice cream with an espresso on the side. How we laughed. Who knew affogato hid in some many places! Lucy's is both fun and professional. You'll be seeing me in a hot second

A very formal dining experience in Ambleside. Twice we have dined in, different months, different years. Service , menu and waiting on staff have been excellent. U will need to make reservations as this gets booked out pretty quick.
