        Dave and Angie are perfect hosts, their friendly and accommodating attitude is a breath of fresh air. The rooms are very clean and made up daily. The full English breakfast is a brilliant way to start the day along with the friendly conversation with the hosts about the local area (their knowledge is better than Google) I would highly recommend a stay at Claremont House.

        Great place to stay , never been to the Lake District before ,reminds me of west coast scotland , Dave and angie are brand new , great hosts , very clean place , breakfast was great , couldnt have made you feel more welcome , if your taking a car , best place to park at the church round the corner , (if) you can find a place as its very busy !!!!
