If you are after a comfortable, friendly place to stay in the heart of Ambleside this is the place. The owners were really lovely, friendly and helpful. Breakfast was served with quality produce well cooked. The b and b is give minutes from anywhere in Ambleside, two minutes from the cinema. Despite the weather we had a lovely stay. Rooms: The room was spacious clean and comfortable. Not grand but perfect for our needs. A warm planet place to stay on a short walking holiday.

Absolute gem of a place, we absolutely loved everything about this BnB. The house is beautiful, warm and very welcoming. The owners were kind and friendly from the minute you arrived and I think they have a gift of making sure your stay is the best it could be. Bedroom beautiful crisp white bedding and everything high quality. View from the room of the fells was just stunning. So close to all amenities, we left our car in the parking spot provided for three days and walked in the surrounding hills. We were given a map for a new walk we hadn't done before and this was beautiful. Completely silent every night gave us wonderful sleep. Breakfasts outstanding. We will definitely recommend and return.
