        Good, very cold walk along the pier, plenty of waves to crash over the pier and soak unsuspecting walkers. Free and paid parking, seasonal I guess. Pricey fish and chips close by but tasty so...worth it?

        The actual south pier is closed to the general public via a metal gateway . But you can walk the length of the decked out wooden pier . Popular spot especially in the summer with tourist and fisherman alike.
