Food was nice. Chips and slushy were Awful, Cheesy Garlic bread and Fish were nice. Pizza was yummy! Vegan Boloansase was okay. Would love more vegan options. Would be back

Sunday visit, 2pmish and the place was near enough empty which was a sign to leave then. Staff unwelcoming. Order roast beef dinners which had no taste, beef was possibly boiled, not roasted, roast potatoes were soft on the outside, might as well have been boiled, onion and spring onion in salad order with kids meal. Food served to table by a young lady who barely spoke, had no training on table service, no offer of salt, pepper, nothing. The staff were seen eating, drinking and laughing next to serving area with kitchen staff in view and hearing of customers, just before the bar and kitchen staff were then seen smoking directly outside the open fire escape of the kitchen. On seeing me looking, they pushed the door too, I was going to take a photo for proof, no staff were in the bar at this time, apart from one female who had been cleaning windows at the other end of the building and approached a man patiently waiting to be served. On a Sunday afternoon this pub should have been busier but it wasn't. Food is expensive for its quality and it was tasteless, drinks are over priced, and combined poor staff attitude, its a sinking ship. I blame the management as they clearly have no interest, don't care enough to improve bar, restaurant service. Security cams might help provide a pic should anyone be interested in my comments for needed improvements. 5 star caravan Park next door, this bar has some work to concentrate on to get customers to return.

Food is ok... For a cafe....... This is a restaurant but they sell cafe food at restaurant prices. Chicken often is so crispy is flies off the plate when you try to cut it, service isn't great, takes forever to be served. Atmosphere isn't great, more like a pub when there's a football match, but the "restaurant" is just a little place on the side of the bar, no walls.

I used to go here a few years back and the food was great. However, I recently visited for a Sunday dinner and it was a huge letdown. The Sunday lunch was clearly not cooked fresh. The potatoes were cold, burnt and dry. That said, the meat wasn't too bad. I'd like to see the staff more attentive to who enters the building. I was stood there for a good few mins before anyone spoke to me. Even a quick "I'll be with you in a sec while I serve these others" would go a long way. No wonder the car park was empty. I'm a bit disappointed. This place has bags of potential too. Such a shame. Hopefully, the management sees this and can address the problems.

Amazing place. Have just found it and I love it. Coffee with my friend on Tuesday then lunch with my husband today. Fish and chips to die for. Friendly staff and lovely environment. It was like being on holiday only 10 miles from Boulmer.
