Lovely place to go for both beginners and experienced riders! Recently took my youngest child for a 15 minute taster lesson and the instructor had a fab tone and brilliant with both my daughter and the pony Merlin. She did a lot in the 15 minutes to keep her interested. There were lots of other animals to look at after the lesson which was a bonus! Will be going again soon! Thanks

Took my daughter for her first real riding lesson and she loved it. Cannot fault this place, friendly staff and great facilities, we'll be back for more :-)

We paid for a 1 hour private hack but upon arrival found they had booked us in with another couple and changed it to a group hack. When we said we requested a private hack they said well were going the same way and youre booked in at the same time so we might as well all go together. Despite us paying extra to go privately! Very hilly and a steep hill to drive up to get there. You have to hold and lead the horses by yourself which isnt a good idea if youre nervous of them. One person was put on a horse that decided to trot and hed never been on a horse before but the instructors just shook it off. I would recommend this stables for experienced horse riders not beginners as instructors dont seem to care of your level of riding abilities because all the horses follow each other anyway. You spend 5 minutes in the woods aswell. The other 55 minutes of horse riding is country lanes
