We are members of the National Trust that makes a great saving on the individual 13 cost of visiting if you visit NT places regularly. We have found the Dudmaston estate a relaxing place to visit with friends and relatives over the past few years . We last visited on Wednesday 20th April 2023 with friends for a walk in the grounds. My wife still has difficulty walking following a prolonged stay in hospital in 2022 but she managed to walk down the grass bank to seat with lovely views of the lake. I walked, with a friend, around the lake and had a relaxing chat in the sunshine for 45 minutes . I would not recommend this walk if you use a wheel chair as it does have some difficult climbs in parts ( although there is a sign saying that a motorised cross country wheelchair is available for use - NOTE - it must be booked 24 hours In advance ) A large free car park is at the end of the drive to Dudmaston with a large number of disabled only parking spaces close to the entrance walk. A short flat walkway leads to the entrance hut and then an open gateway leads into the orchard Walled garden . This area has a large number of benches where drinks and food can be eaten from the cafe in the building alongside the garden. The toilets including a disabled toilet are also inside this building.
