I have worked at Wast Hills as a Locum Doctor for a long term. There has been a great improvement recently. Wast Hills are doing a fantastic job. I could not thank enough to the team at Wast Hills for all the help and support during my placement. The love and affection that was showered on me is incredible I greatly appreciate all your hard work and commitment towards patient care which is truly amazing. This is very well reflected and grossly evident, which I have seen through my working journey at Wast Hills. It is indeed so nice to see our patients are enjoying their time at safari park, cinema, fun day, all those lovely pictures...etc It is also great that some of our service users have improved to a great extent that, they were able to enjoy their time on holidays on the beachside, where as it was very difficult to get them out of their rooms when admitted to Wast Hills. It is so nice to see our patients happy and getting towards recovery. Hats off to everyone for working so positively with challenges and I really feel proud for having worked at Wast Hills

This is the most institutionally racist place I've had the dis- pleasure and misery of working at. The staff are very clicky and will find many ways and means of trying to sack you if you don't " fit in " The fact that they have a stained glass window at the back of a slave girl proves it. A very tiny amount of the permanent staff are black or Asian but the vast majority of agency are black which proves that they don't want minorities working there on a permanent basis. I recommend that this place should be investigated properly by an actual independent organisation.

This place needs to be fully investigated as there is racism going on within the workplace. The staff who work here are clicky. A very tiny amount of permanent staff are black or Asian which proves they don't want ethnic minorities working there on a permanent basis! Also at the back of the building there is a stained glass window with a black woman slave which I find very offensive. I would not recommend working here if you are an ethnic minority unless you want to be bullied at work or want to have your shift changed last minute affecting your plans or you would like to be constantly stressed because the staff and the managers do NOT support you when you need help. If I could give 0 stars I would.
