Pure Boutique,Altrncham

I went in to buy my very ill girlfriend a T-shirt and as she could not make it or may not have liked it , I asked if I could return to be told NO can only have a credit note !!!! This is wholly illegal and consumer rights say that a cash refund is correct , the girl at the counter ( not English ) may not have understood the law .. I will never go back !!!! This is so wrong and the T-shirts are copies of French styles obviously without using the brand names ..

I purchased two sweaters from Pure boutique on 19th September. I was asked by the English assistant if I would like to try them on I told the assistant I will try them on when I get home and if for whatever reason I change my mind I will be back the next day as I have a hair appointment in Altrincham I didnt like one of them and so the next day before my appointment I went to the shop and said I didnt like one of them and so could i have a refund I was told by the assistant that had sold me them that I couldnt have a refund i can only have a credit note or another item she then directed me to the returns policy which was in a frame about six foot high on the wall behind her. I told the assistant that at no point did she make me aware of the returns policy or at the point of sale. Another women who I presume was working their then began telling me that I could stay there all day because that this is their policy and that it is my own fault that I didnt read the returns policy. PLEASE BE AWARE OF THIS BEFORE YOU PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM THIS STORE
