I was placed in a role with high-risk students far beyond my experience and pay grade. I reported feeling exhausted and crying to my regional director, who did nothing to support me. The training provided was online courses with no actual application to my job role.

Yipiyap is a fantastic opportunity for those taking a gap year and are unsure of what to do before starting university. It provides tutoring services to schools across the country, at various academic levels, and allows you to make the most of your academic knowledge. The staff and team leaders are super supportive and will help you get the hang of things fairly quickly and efficiently. It's definitely something that stands out on applications and will help you develop important life skills that employers and universities love to see demonstrated. I would definitely recommend this as its been a fantastic first job for myself!

I worked as a tutor for Yipiyap on my gap year and had a great experience. I developed as a professional more in one year than I thought possible! Helping students that needed support was the most rewarding of experiences. Seeing them acheive the goals they set out to develop themselves as young professionals and knowing you played a small part in that gives a real sense of gratification
