        New to the Alton area I chose Alton Eye Care for my annual eye test. That was fine but the problem started with an order for contact lenses. I was promised them to be with me by the end of July but no lenses arrived and was then told after nine working days that the suppliers were the problem. Not good enough, I have never had such a problem with other Opticians I have used around the country.

        Forget the multiple chains as these guys are really customer focused and not expensive as you might expect! Quite often they can match the mutiple chains on price, plus you get a personal servie from the very friendly staff. I really would not go anywhere other than Alton Eye Care!
