I have booked this company a couple of times in recent months, only to be cancelled at the last minute. For the first attempt at an appointment, I was advised, on very short notice, that the person due had hurt his back so couldn't come that day, but would probably be fine in a day or so, which of course he wasn't. I was, I thought helpfully, given the name of another heating engineer, only to find that the name given was for a gas central heating engineer, which is not what we have. Second attempt. I telephoned two or three weeks ago to book in a regular boiler service and was given today at the first available appointment. As I needed to make a special trip for this, I contacted Adamsgale yesterday to confirm the appointment, and was advised that the appointment still stood and that someone would call before arrivingn. I received this call and was advised that someone would arrive within 2 hours. Over 2 hours later I received a call from the engineer's wife saying that he wouldn't in fact be turning up and that she could book me in for another appointment in a week or so. I don't know what is going on with this company, but they don't seem to want business. Avoid, unless you want to waste time, money and energy on a wild goose chase.

Very Disappointed I do not write reviews, but I feel compelled in this instance as I was so incredibly disappointed with the Adams Gale engineer who visited my property following a problem with my boiler. The Adams Gale engineer was not at my property for more than 4/5 minutes when he was trying to leave. His diagnostics of the problem was lazy and insufficient. I even tried to delay his departure by asking questions about the operation of the boiler, but this only delayed his escape to the door for a few more minutes. I was charged for a full hour for someone who basically could not be bothered to try and solve the problem or maybe he could have been completely out of his depth. Despite my written complaint about the poor service to Adam Gale, there was absolutely no follow up from them which again was disappointing and demonstrated a lack of interest and care. I have since employed another plumbing company who were extremely professional and quickly solved the problem with my boiler. The fix which was completely different fix to anything suggested by Adam Gales brief visit.
