An absolute gem of a place.A pocket of magic (host grounds & surrounds) - that catches you with true surprise as you drive in.Beautiful walking trails amongst woodland, orchards, wild roses and a host of animals. Perfect exploration space for both adults and children.Brooks and streams make wonderful shapes and sounds, framing most of the area.A more amicable host, understanding, detailed and efficient - it might be hard to find. Lovely Cooked breakfasts, made as you like it.Fantastic and varied birdsong all day long... phenomenal wild foraging spots with a wealth of seasonal treasures.I enjoyed freshly picked nettle tea almost daily.Watching a huge Kite as it swooped low with its rust-red underside, was an absolute treat.Thank you for holding this wonderful and rare space, Glenn - and for lovely conversations, both with yourself and the other guests. Thrilled to have had these memories.Note: temperature regulation not always consistent in the rooms, as with these beautiful older properties. The downstairs rooms are considerably cooler than the upstairs room - do chat with host, if you need a warm room on colder days/nights.
