Danny has been simply the most remarkable, kind-hearted and generous person I have had the pleasure of speaking to in a long time. On 27th December with family isolated due to covid he not only came out to deliver ibuprofen, but after hearing it was for a child who was struggling with symptoms did so completely free-of-charge (medicine included) out of pure kindness. I can't recommend enough - incredible. Restores your faith in humanity!

Asked Alton couriers to collect a set of war medals from an auction house in their locality to send to us in Australia. They answered my email the next day and were courteous in their response. I waited 6 days for a reply to say they had collected them, to be told that their quote to pack and send these (size 19cm x 11cm, weight: 327 grammes) would be 125 GBP, plus VAT. When I asked what the massive price was the result of, their emails begand to get less courteous, to the point where they agreed to send for 85GBP including VAT they said that for any less than that, it was not worth their time and effort. Today I received the items, to which they had smply used Royal Mail, paid for a 32p padded bag and paid 14.50 GBP to send to me. Not value for money in any respect, I understand businesses need to make a profit on their workm, but this margin is simply ridiculous.
