Bought a cooker hood and agreed a delivery date. Did this specifically because we were going away for a few days. Whilst away and two days before the delivery date, I got a text from the delivery company saying the hood would be delivered in the next hour. I had no Internet access to do anything to stop the delivery, and no phone number was provided. I contacted my neighbour who was luckily at home. He called round and found the hood left outside our house. Rang Apelson who were apologetic but didn't seem to completely get the point which was that the hood could have been stolen or damaged by the weather. Would treat with caution.

I bought an induction hob and oven in December 2015. During the next several months, the main hotplate kept cutting out. I contacted these people, they sent a repair man out rather than a replacement as I asked. Over the next 2 years, he visited 4 times and never cured the fault. I decided to live with it as it was a niggle rather than a full-blown problem and the alternative was legal action. New Years Eve 2019 it failed completely and I had to buy a conventional hob to cook. This company has no interest in consumers once the money is paid and a recent technical review of their Chinese-made products described them as 'basement' sales. There are better places to buy with an honourable service ethos.
