An historical and quirky house full of character and equipped with a modern kitchen with good plumbing and heating. Isolated in a high Cumbrian valley the phone signal is nonexistent but the house is equipped with efficient WiFi so messenger and WhatsApp etc facilities are good when within the house. A great base for long walks in the most remarkable scenery including a number of impressive waterfalls. Approx 50 minutes mountain drive from Barnard Castle and 40 minutes from Penrith.
