Beautiful house in a lovely village with amazing walks. Cranmore House is everything you'd want from a holiday home. It's roomy and comforting with an Aga to keep the house warm and toasty, along with a wood burner and coal fire too! The bed was the most comfortable I've ever slept on! Dogs are welcome with a lovely, secure garden to play in. Nenthead is a welcoming village and 'The Hush' is a must-see. If you're really lucky you may see fairies and hobgoblin on an evening or maybe a red squirrels - all equally elusive!

We have just returned from a 5 night stay at Cranmore and have thoroughly enjoyed our time there. We are a family of 6 and one dog. Upon arrival we were impressed with the spacious rooms and decor. The welcome book vontained everything we needed to know for our stay and more. The great reviews from other guests and friendly locals helped us to choose activities to do. Bojo the sprocker spaniel loved all of the extra walks, the enclosed field he could run free in and watching the local wild life. We all got to see a red squirrel. The teenagers were very impressed with the xbox and games provided. The welcome packs for us and the dog were lovely and contained a little treat for everyone. The fizz for new years was a lovely touch too. And after a long day hiking the beds were so comfortable to sink into. Like sleeping on clouds. We couldn't have wanted for anything more in our stay. Mich the owner is happy to goabove and beyond to make your stay whatever you desire. We will be back for sure
