1st half. Quick start to the game. Brocton should probably be a player down within 60 seconds, Alsager forward cleaned out while through on goal by the centre half. Goal for Brocton, cracking right foot strike from 20 plus yards in the inside left position, nestled in the top far corner.

2nd half. Early chance for Brocton straight out if the traps but wasted. Alsager's No7 and No11 swapped sides, Sager No11 having some limited success in his new postion. Rare attack by Sager only for the striker to lose his footing while taking his chance. Brocton as the away team seemed to have more success playing the ball about on a bad pitch while Sager could only knock it long hoping for a runner.
