Alrewas Surgery

This Surgery has gone downhill rapidly.I have been trying now for weeks to get a mole looked at that is itchy and changing colour and shape,no chance of an Appointment.I have no option now but to pay privately to have it looked at.Disgraceful.

The doctors are great here, there's one lovely receptionist however receptionist Rachel has a serious attitude, to the point whenever you raise a question she threatens to hang up, it's tiring and her lack of support and people skills for people with known health issues is horrendous. Previously had to complain about her behaviour to the practise manager, great to see that it's been dealt with....

Reception computer never works, told to check in but the time would be incorrect, checked in 5 minutes before appointment but had to wait one hour as computer didnt check me in? This was after telephoning two days and making 99 calls the first day and 11 times the second day The practise is paid per patient and the excuses of having too many patients is just greed on the partners of the practise

Really friendly staff that are discreet and compassionate. The doctors and nurses really take time to get to know the kids to make the process easier. you can actually get through on their phone lines which is a nice change for me.

This is a surgery under huge pressure. The doctors remain almost entirely fantastic and dedicated ( with the odd exception sadly). It is extremely difficult to get an appointment even when calling at 8.15 prompt. The reception team are not always as kind as they might be, no doubt as a result of the pressure.
