Had a fantastic long weekend with family from around the UK. It feels more like being welcomed into a family home then having the keys to a holiday cottage (albeit a spotless and well appointed family home)! Loads of space inside and out with a different feel to different areas. Toys for little (and big!) ones both inside and out. Can't think of a single thing which would have made it better. It's even in the middle of beautiful countryside either straight out the door or within a short drive. Absolutely perfect!

Recent stay for a family get-together with 9 adults and 3 dogs. Excellent accommodation with a very welcoming feel. Very well equipped kitchen. Very dog/child friendly with well enclosed grassy area outside and the open barn/barbecue building is a real boon. 2 bathrooms requires a little organisation, but is manageable. Lovely local walks and the whole of the dales to explore if you feel like getting the car out. Local pub just down the hill is very welcoming, good beer and food - limited menu but good quality. Overall excellent and would definitely recommend.

We stayed in the converted farmhouse for a long weekend as a family celebration and would thoroughly recommend this accommodation to others. A luxury place which was extremely good value for money. Beautfully presented and the staff had gone that extra mile with added detail such as a locally baked bakewell tart, a children's fancy dress cupboard, dog blankets/ treats and an outdoor activity equipment cupboard with balls/games. It is set in a tranquil location with a very short walk to the local pub, which was excellent. A short drive to matlock, and not too far from bakewell and other places. The parking was ample, and there were walks from the accommodation.

My Wife and I stayed here with our 4 grown up children and their partners. Dogs are made welcome and well provided for. It's a beautiful old building which oozes character and charm. The spacious accommodation is a very high standard with everything provided. It's a great location for exploring the Peak District and the stately homes. We would definitely like to stay here again.
