Rooms: Variety of rooms of different sizes: some en-suite, some not. But all bathroom adjacent. Nearby activities: A car is a necessity. The Bear Inn does a sensational Sunday carvery and the Black Rocks near Wirksworth and the High Peak Trail make for a nice walk with great views. Walkability: A car is an absolute necessity. No adjacent roads have pavements, but going for a run is not a problem (just be aware of traffic!) Wi-fi: WiFi was good, but be sure to make sure the router is set up in every barn to increase coverage.
