Great place to rent for a week with lots of people. There were about 16 people in our party and the house was so spacious it was easy for us all to be together. Recommend for a party. Rooms: Great rooms well equipped for the stay everyone had plenty of space to be alone or together in the main rooms. Great place to stay.

Big house! Very atmospheric. Older furniture and fittings give a very different Vibe. It needs a lot of small repairs doing to really bring it up to value for money as it is expensive to rent. Much of the furniture is very much showing its age and broken fittings need sorting. Looks good in pictures but also needs a very good clean as it is quite dusty in places. Linen etc was clean and fresh though and hot tub and sauna good additions. I had the one room downstairs that is more " modern " ok but not as old world as the other rooms, which is what you pay for. It was comfortable though. Not particularly disability friendly as a building but it is old. Perhaps the en suite i had could be modified for this?
