Grey Croft is simply everything that is right about a British guest house. Not only is this a beautiful building, immaculately decorated, and in the perfect location in Alnwick, but the hosts in Audrey and Tom are simply wonderful. We arrived to a fault of our own, only having booked for a party of one. Audrey instantly made everything ok and sorted all the palaver without a single issue making us feel incredibly welcome. The breakfasts that co host Tom (Audreys son) makes are award winning for a reason and they are world class! Simply incredible. I recommend Eggs Hebridean, which is phenomenal! Never have we met a more welcoming and wonderful family who have a genuine interest in who you are. Their recommendations and knowledge of the area are all second to none. Finally, we thought wed add that Audrey had a wonderful sense of fashion and was dressed beautifully every day. This is a true gem, not only for Alnwick and Northumberland, but a lesson in what a UK guest house should be. Thank you! We WILL be back again! Thom & Abi

Audrey, Tom and team Greycroft welcome guests into their beautiful property. Clean and tastefully decorated rooms which are comfortable and homely. Breakfast is freshly prepared produce, cooked with love by Tom, no request too much trouble. Fantastic vegan options. Cannot recommend The Greycroft and this great team enough to anyone visiting Alnwick.
