Staying here was great! Gemma was very co-operative re potential change of dates. Good communication re parking arrangements- we were able to park our Ford Focus estate directly outside without issues, and there are lots of alternative car parks very nearby. The house was spotless and newly decorated, ideally located with a short flat walk into the town centre. Around the corner from Alnwick Gardens. Ideal for meeting with family members who were staying elsewhere in Alnwick. Also Gemma was great at returning my dressing gown which I left behind! Ground floor bedroom was ideal for us oldies too

What a fabulous house! We stayed at The Old Newsagents for a week and have just returned home. The house is perfectly situated for a stay in beautiful Alnwick. Everything is just a few minutes walk away; the castle, the Alnwick Garden, Barter Books and many great bars and restaurants. We were a party of nine and every one of us agreed that this house is simply lovely. The luxury touches like good bed linen, high end room fragrances, nice cushions and quality hand soaps in every bathroom made us feel very much cared for. The various living spaces gave us opportunities to all be together or in smaller groups as we wished. Thank you, Gemma. We will be back!

Absolutely fantastic stay, from beginning to end communication was fast, friendly and extremely helpful no question was too much. The property is spotless everything we could possibly need and such comfortable beds. Pure luxury in a beautiful area, highly recommended. The Plough straight opposite has delicious food and great beer.
