Alnwick Castle Golf Club

A fairly challenging course with a tough finish par 5. Small but modern clubhouse. Great sandwiches and superb chips!

A course of two halves. Front 9 hilly with blind shots. A good test. Back 9 wide open but longer. Watches don't pick up correct holes yet as only recently changed layout. New clubhouse with stunning views.

Lovely course with great views of the North Sea. Really enjoyed playing with some tough holes thrown in. Friendly staff. Great facilities. Well priced. You cannot go wrong. Dropping to a 3. Not a good experience in the cafe. Very rude staff.

Played on Saturday, as our course had a county event took up the offer of using Alnwick course. To be honest course was very poor, mud fest, the changing facilities were locked on return and gear locked inside. No times or any information passed on to our group. Your golf gps is useless as course changed and not updated, also no distance markers or even a map of the course so changes could be navigated. Will not be anywhere near this course in the future. Also the reaction i the shop when one of our party returned to pick our gear up was extremely poor.
