It was 4.45p. When the socket circuit died. The main switch in the consumer box was down and wouldn't stay up! My usual electrician was not available and we were entertaining with no power to cooker or appliances. Panic! I rang Oliver and left a message. 10 mins later he rang me back and agreed to call immediately, he did and resolved the problem. I had two smoke detectors I was waiting to have fitted. This is an edit to the below review. We asked Oliver Lambert back to carry out some additional work for us. Just as happy the second time around as I was the first. Apart from some additional circuits, they tested the entire house's hard wiring, which was overdue. They found some faults left by the original installation fromn long before we moved here. Very pleased with their workmanship. Fast, clean and tidy. Reasonable price too. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Original review: After a succession of other electricians failed to carry out work, (we had been waiting months) someone recommended Oliver Lambert to me. I am so pleased they did. They were quick in their delivery, friendly and professional. Despite the work also including lots of cutting out of the walls, which generates lots of dust, they left the place far tidier and cleaner than some other contractors have. I gave them specifications of the substantial work I wanted, discussed it with Adam Lambert and then left them to it. The electrical work itself is far neater than that which we inherited with the property. The quoted price was good value. This was a domestic job, but I've contracted a lot of electricians for commercial and industrial property and would happily recommend Oliver Lambert . Thank-you!
