Lovely location, lovely cottage. On closer inspection after arrival the cleanliness let it down a bit. A lump of hair down the bath drain, a bic razor under the bath, very greasy extractor in kitchen. I went to serve food and the dinner plates had left over food on them so I had to clean all the plates and cups etc as I felt a little unwell seeing that. Dog friendly was great, lovely secure garden was great, but a lot of rules that quite simply were overkill we felt. Young children can be just as disruptive as dogs to be honest. The other let down was the information re food etc was out of date, places not open given the time of the year so a little more thought perhaps. Overall though we loved it, loved the location, loved the space, facilities were great. Shower could probably do with an upgrade but overall we loved the place and would definitely go back again just maybe not at Christmas as it was a little too quiet.
