Best publican I've ever met, helpful, sincere, great cook, beer was just right knowledge about the area fantastic.

Very tasty home cooked style food, hearty portions. Staff are very nice. Lovely walks nearby, dog friendly.

Remember when the British public voted for Boaty McBoatface? Yeah well I'm trying to forget it. The Boat doesn't have any pretentions and it's not silly or clever or anything more than what it is. It's a nice pub near some boats and it's nice to get a drink or some grub there. Staff were friendly. It wasn't too busy when I visited. Nothing really more to add.
