Had a delivery of a ceramic kitchen sink this morning. The company called me this morning to make me aware of the delivery and that it would be a kurb side delivery.I explained that wouldnt be in but my partner who is disabled and currently awaiting serious surgery would be in but wouldnt be able to lift and carry the parcel that distance. The office agreed to tell the driver to remove the parcel from the pallet and leave upright in front of our front door so the parcel could be tilt ed to fall in our house then slid into the house. This promise was never followed through and the driver sat in the van and watched my partner try for 20 minutes to try and get parcel into the house which was a 250 ceramic kitchen sink which is very fragile. This was a result of very poor communication from the office to the driver or just disgusting behaviour from the driver.
