        Cutlery that was given for desert wasnt cleaned properly, had smear marks and bits of food from their last serving on them. Not a good look. Besides that the food was good and obviously with it being a Wetherspoons it was an affordable price. Still doesnt excuse the state of the cutlery though.

        Spent an enjoyable couple of hours here on a Wednesday evening. Choice of 5 or 6 real ales and two high percentage scrumpy ciders for us card carrying CAMRA members. Several other keg lagers and ciders were available. A jovial barman which always improves a pub imho. Early evening very popular, but managed to grab a booth and noticed after 8pm on a weekday night it quickly became much quieter. We came by car, no car park but plenty of parking less than 5 minutes walk away after 6pm. Not sure about daytime parking. Within ten minutes of leaving we were back at our campsite in the Derbyshire countryside.
