I purchased two garage doors from this company at the same time. Overall I found them to be unprofessional patronising greedy unhelpful disjointed and riddled with internal politics.

I had an expensive electric garage door installed just over a year ago. From the outset it had an intermittent fault. At first I tried to ignore it but it steadily became worse. When I asked for someone to come out to look at it I was told it would cost 150 +VAT if it just needed reprogramming. Cedar Doors maintained that it was probably due to a recent power cut. I tried and tried to get advice from different people to reprogrammed the door but I was forced to go back to Cedar Doors. I was told that the only fitter they had was nursing an injury. In fact I was lucky as my door had been fitted. Some customers had paid for doors which had not even been installed. I was told I was in a pile of jobs and not even a priority. This went on for 12 months. The fitter has been off for more than 6 months. Every time I rang for help, I was treated with more and more derision. I suggested they might perhaps get another fitter and was told that they no longer sold garage door domestically, only to builders. At no point would they give me any idea of when they might be able to look at my door. I suggested I get it fixed and they paid the bill. Absolutely not , was the reply. I reminded them that I had a 3 year guarantee. The response, We dont have a fitter This Hormanns door cost 1900 and I had to make it work. I contacted Hormanns, the door supplier.. From the outset their response was in total contrast to the rudeness I had experienced at Cedar Doors. In less than a week, they sent out one of their senior technicians to investigate. Within 5 minutes the cause of all problems was established. Two wires in the control box were loose. The problem had been there since the beginning.He stayed to adjust settings which had been badly set up and inspected the rest of it to make sure nothing else was amiss. Absolutely no charge and a real pleasure to have at my property. I am so disappointed with Cedar Doors, not least because it appears I have no meaningful guarantee from them. Hormanns did emphasise that the guarantee was with them and they could give me details of local people who could do an annual service and keep it running smoothly. I wouldnt award any stars if there was that option. You live and learn.

From getting a quote to having an electric garage door installed Cedar Doors were very professional and courteous and did a fantastic job at a price considerably less than I had been quoted by a different local company

Delighted with the quality of our new garage doors, the fitting team were excellent and took great care installing them, would definitely recommend this company.

2 Trent garage doors fitted. Superb quality and they look positively stunning. Outstanding product in every way. Strongly recommended.
