After doing some work for these people i was taken into hospital unwell , i have wages overdue a month. Now they are refusing to pay my wages owed because I didnt fill out forms they were supposed to hand to me as i started with this company. If you start with these please dont get poorly as it will be your own fault. they have no care in the world, i am currently going threw a small claims court to recover moneys owed, paul is extremely rude and very disrespectful

Megan was very unprofessional. She only cleaned our house a few times. The last time she was meant to come she just didn't turn up. Turns out she had lost our key but to this day hasn't owned up to it, she just kept giving us a very strange excuse. We have had to pay out for new locks ourselves.

Chose GEM after hearing some good reviews on Facebook, however our experience is far from good. Booked for an end of tenancy clean and carpet clean. Whilst communication was good from the initial enquiries and booking and then the subsequent messages the standard of the work performed was less than satisfactory. Two ladies attended on Thursday and made a start, they then had to go for a family emergency (these things happen) but they said they'd handed over to Megan the Boss who'd be coming the following day to finish off what they hadn't and then clean the carpets. Megan attended Friday and messaged my sister to say she'd done the carpets, they hadn't come up as good as she'd hoped but she'd done her best with them, no mention of the other bits that still needed doing. It wasn't until Saturday when we went to decorate that we found issues, cobwebs in the majority of the rooms, the work that was missed on the Thursday was also not finished. We messaged Megan to mention the bits that had been missed and she became rather defensive and rude over messages with my other sister. She even stated the work the other 2 ladies had done the day before wasn't up to scratch!! After much too'ing and fro'ing over messages Megan agreed to come back on Monday (today) to complete what she hadn't done the last time she was there. Monday came and Megan then failed to attend, when asked what time she would be coming her reply was once again rude. She wasn't coming to complete the work. We have refused to pay for the works completed based on the fact the job in our eyes hasn't yet been completed to a satisfactory standard.
