        Popped in on the way back from the Alfreton match on returning to the train station post match and thought I'd have a swift pint and support a local business with the half hour I had to spare. Nice cosy micropub. Quiet but was a nice comedown after a couple of hours of football noise, comfy seating and a pool table if you have more time to spare with a bigger group visiting.

        Walked in from Alfreton Train Station at 21:56. Thought what a lovely little boozer, how wrong was I. A place thats for not for anyone but the local. They wouldnt serve us as they closed at 10pm despite there being a lot of people in. Dont bother with this place, absolutely horrendous.

        Thought wed call in here as a pit stop on the way home from Notts. Clearly a local pub for local people. Wouldnt serve us at 9.56am when their sign stated 10pm. Awful establishment. Just avoid it as you wont be made to feel welcome.
