One True Love | Surrey & Sussex Wedding Photographer

We found Martyn online and booked our wedding date in with ease- however the pandemic then struck! We had to move our date and Martyn was so accommodating- he had multiple zoom calls with us to ease any worries we had even during his own holiday. One the day he was amazing and in a good way we barely noticed he was there. He managed to get a photo of every guest and capture moments that happened that we didnt realise. We are beyond pleased with our photos and would 100% recommend him to anyone!!

I first met Martyn when we went to Trafford College together studying photography. He always had great a great eye for detail and I knew he would do well in the field. My wedding was originally booked for May 2020 but due to government legislations preventing weddings at that time. We had to postpone it to September 2020 when everyday rules and restrictions were changing. It was a stressful time for everybody and even though it rained the whole day and time restrictions were in place (everything had to stop by 10 pm, no confetti, masks on and every other restriction you can think of). Martin and Clare Moran(second photographer) did a wonderful job capturing moments that remind us even though the day was not perfect. At least we were able to get married and finally be together. We had been in a long distance relationship for 6 years (due to several reasons we could not marry sooner) and with the UK leaving the EU, I wanted to leave the UK and move to Switzerland before things got complicated. Martin managed to do the impossible and get some great pictures of my mum. As well as make our wedding pictures look and feel as if the day was seamless and not during a pandemic. I appreciate his attention towards my husband Andrea and my mother in-law as she was the only person from his family and friends able to attend the wedding, due to the need to quarantine for two weeks etc. All this he had done and more without being asked. He and my videographer also seemed to be having a good time and I was glad that all my suppliers got on well with each other. He was also very fast with editing the images which is an extra bonus. We are very happy with his images and would recommend him to anyone that wants documentary style images also don't be afraid to ask if he had taken any specific images. I emailed enquiring about any ring and dress images - fortunately he had taken some and added them to the gallery for me. Thank you so much Martyn :)

Martyn is just brilliant! We met Martyn at a friends wedding where he took amazing shots of the day. The first thing I remember catching my eyes was how stylishly he was dressed. We loved the documentary style photos and the way he told the story. When we got engaged a few months later, we knew we were going to choose him as we dont commercial and cheesy wedding photography styles and Martyn is everything but. It was also very important for us to choose someone who would blend in with our guests and respect our day by dressing properly for the occasion. We loved working with him, he made us at ease during our engagement photo shoot, where we got to know him a bit better. We had several run-throughs at the venue and he was always available and happy to answer to our questions. Customer service before the wedding and after the wedding is a big 5*. He made us feel very relaxed and treated us like friends. On the day he was so incredible, no one even noticed him, I dont remember seeing him apart from our family group photos and yet he produced over a thousand photos of the day. We had such a hard time deciding which ones we like best to frame or put in the album. If you want something unique and so personal, go with him. He is a very talented, charming and professional photographer. We loved having him with us on our big day. Wedding day: May 2019

We chose Martyn from One True Love to be our photographer for our wedding in August 2018. The decision to chose One True Love was made very easy from the first time of meeting Martyn. As we weren't sure on what we exactly required on the day, Martyn was bursting with ideas without 'taking over' and was able to give us a great plan without any stress. Throughout the arrangements he was on hand to offer advice and nothing was too much trouble. On the big day he was there from the start and during the day he was able to co-ordinate the guests (And us!) brilliantly. Feedback from the guests was fantastic as he kept them well entertained whilst doing the rounds. Martyn has a great art of capturing shots differently than others we have seen. After the wedding he provided us with our collection in a timely manner, presented beautifully in lovely keepsake box, with the photos on a USB drive. We really couldn't of asked for more.
