I visited the salon for the first time on Saturday and it will be the first of many more! Portia was super friendly and a lovely person to chat to with a lot of knowledge and experience. She was very flexible to certain things I had asked for, such as using an elastic band to secure the weave, and didnt make me feel as though I was being too picky. She even offered different techniques during the process of sewing my weave. I really felt looked after and she went above and beyond to ensure I would be happy with the final result. She was fully focused and it was an all-round great experience. I have a low pain tolerance, and would strongly recommend Portia, her technique for plaiting cornrows was great! Id strongly suggest making a booking via text/call, you wont be disappointed

"Unprofessional" is an understatement - I booked the appointment to do Senegalese twists with extensions and When I showed up to do Twists! she says "I cant do it with that, it hurts my hands too much"......Umm... I'm sorry but why did you not mention that before ? Then she stops doing my hair to do someone else' and leaves the shop to eat shortly after that.....She finished the braids and doesn't even burn the ends - she just tied them because she "had another appointment" and when i contacted her about the hair falling out and coming undone she tells me come back a week later!? like the hair would survive a whole week. Honestly needs to hire someone to help out or change the way you operate because I would NEVER! set foot in that establishment again, waste of money
