I was very grateful for the porch to shelter in during a rainstorm while I was cycling a few months ago.

Church with saddle tower. St. Peter's was built in 1862 but the earlier church goes back to the 12th century. Some of the monuments and fabric were used in the present church including stone effigies of Edward and Elizabeth Dudley who died in 1632. Also transferred is a stone sarcophagus from 1200 with some great carvings on the lid.
